Accounting Specialist II - (Bonita Springs, FL)

Department: Finance Duties Include but are not limited to: • Maintains and reconciles monthly construction-in-process, fixed assets and depreciation journals; • Maintains and balances construction-in-process accounts by verifying, allocating and reconciling transactions; • Coordinates with the Engineering department to ensure construction-in-process accounts are closed and allocated to depreciable fixed assets in conjunction with the closing of projects; • Works closely with other Department supervisors to gather capital asset info; • Performs detailed analysis of Developer membership accounts; • Posts info for assigned accounting activities into general ledger; • Performs monthly analysis of assigned general ledger accounts by compiling and analyzing account info; • Conducts various monthly account reconciliations; • Assists with various phases of the annual audit and year-end processes, provides support and requested data to auditors as assigned;
