Electrical Maintenance Planner - (Ithaca, NY)

ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE PLANNER Ithaca, NY Position Purpose The purpose of this role is to improve work efficiency and quality of the craftspeople within the Maintenance department through the development of detailed work packages. Primarily, this role will focus on maintenance and reliability of electrical equipment in an underground mining facility with surface operations. This is accomplished by eliminating delays in the planning, scheduling, coordination, kitting and work execution. The role of the Electrical Maintenance Planner is critical to the ongoing success of the Maintenance and Reliability effort. The Planner is responsible for identifying the elements of an executable work package that should contain, but is not limited to, the work plan (including the process and desired end results), the necessary materials, tools, permits, and labor requirements prior to passing the work on to scheduling in alignment with Reliability Excellence processes.
