Restaurant Chef - (Colorado Springs, CO)
BASIC FUNCTION: The Restaurant Chef will take full responsibility in the day to day production of the kitchen. The Restaurant Chef will operate the kitchen in a profitable manner as outlined in the annual budget. REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK BACKGROUND: High-school certificate or equivalent. Three Years culinary training and culinary school graduate. Three to 5 years culinary background in a multi-outlet club or resort. Min background of 2 yrs as a Chef or Sous Chef background supervising a staff of over ten employees. Knowledge of specific culinary department and basic accounting. Background formulating budgets and forecasts. Great communication expertise. REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: Monitor production and quality levels of all food products. Train, develop and maintain employees skills and relations. Monitor incoming food product to insure proper quality. Monitor all refrigeration and dry storage for proper handling and rotation.
