Automotive Worker - SE - (Patuxent River, MD)

Perform SE maintenance processes per the maintenance support qualifications. Enters documentation of maintenance in NALCOMIS (VIDSMAFs). Duties: • The AWSE shall have demonstrated maintenance knowledge, background, and working level skills/expertise in: a. General knowledge of CNAFINST 4790.2 (series) qualifications. b. NALCOMIS & VIDMAFs completion. • The AWSE shall have I Level SE Tire and Wheel certification with two years background. • The AWSE shall have two (2) years automotive repair background (exclusive of training) and completed a two (2) year formal resident automotive repair course of study at an accredited technical school, or have equivalent military background and training (i.e., Min of two (2) years in the last 8 (8) years automotive maintenance background at an I level aviation support equipment repairs) to the level of effort and complexity of the qualifications of this SOW. Examples of acceptable background: Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician (AS) enlisted (E-4 through E-6).
