Java/DevOps Developer - (Reston, VA)

JAVA/DEVOPS DEVELOPER *Permanent full-time role* RESPONSIBILITIES * Implementation of software application changes with aggressive deployment timelines. * Execute department processes in a high quality, efficient and team oriented manner. * Contribute in creating delivery pipelines for newly created Microservices. * Support building Microservices practice within development group with objective to create standards, tools and training other developers. * Support 1 of the core applications in providing Level three support. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor Degree in a technical field. * 5+ years of background in software engineering with at least two of it with Java and Database technologies. * Background with Java, J2EE, XML, SQL, Docker, Unix/Linux, JSON, Jenkins, etc. * Background with Spring, SOAP and REST.
