Painter (General Services) Martin County Building Repair & Maintenance Please note this position is filled through reSOURCE Government Services and is a contract position. This is not a direct county hire position. You will be an employee of reSOURCE Government Services working on assignment at Martin County BoCC. reSOURCE Government Services is a 100% drug free workplace Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am 3:30pm or 7:30am 4:00pm Pay level: $18.25 per hour + benefits Location: 2555 SE Avenger Circle; Stuart, FL 34996 MAJOR FUNCTION This position performs routine surface preparation, painting, and finishing tasks, applying a variety of methods, media and techniques to both interior and exterior surfaces. Works under the direction of the Building Maintenance Administrator. ILLUSTRATIVE DUTIES Prepares and cleans surfaces by hand sanding, burning, scraping, machine sanding, dusting, drywall repairs and using paint removers or strippers, pressure cleaning, etc.
