Position description Total Vision Care is a group of highly successful optometry practices that have joined together to thrive. These practices provide superior eye care results to patients throughout Southern California. We are seeking a friendly, dependable,and organized Optical Lab Technician to work at our practice, Pack & Bianes Optometry, in Eastlake, CA. CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee the Lab to ensure efficiency and compliance with policies and operational guidelines and identify solutions for areas of opportunity. Convey a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Execute same day service. Perform machine maintenance to ensure that all lab equipment is clean and in good working order according to office standards. Assist in controlling inventory shrinkage through the monitoring and recording of breakage and accurate inventories are in line to expectations. Ensure that the lab maintains a proper level of lenses and lab supplies to provide prompt customer service.
