FUNCTION Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager and the Director of Laboratory Services, the Medical Technologist is responsible for the performance of routine and specialized tests carried out in the Clinical and/or Microbiology Laboratoryies. Solves technical problems requiring a complex degree of judgment with minimum supervision. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Education Must possess a BS or BA in Medical Technology or a related science. Background Background preferred. Licensure Medical Technologists with certification from the Board of Certification BOC through the American ociation of Bioanalysts AAB are encouraged to apply.
