Day Shift Clinical Laboratory Scientist or CLS Opening Job - (Chico, CA)

NEW Clinical Laboratory Scientist OR CLS opening at one of the top critical access hospitals in the country! This small hospital is also a teaching hospital and has strong affiliations with two area universities. This small general medical and surgical hospital is looking to hire a permanent and full time Clinical Laboratory Scientist. The CLS performs and observes tests on patient specimens and correctly records results. Must be able to operate a variety of clinical laboratory equipment. Must be conscientious with regard to policies and procedures, has knowledge of federal and state regulations and is capable of working under pressure. This is a generalist position- working in all areas of the clinical laboratory. For consideration. applicants must have his or her California License as a CLS and his or her B.S. Degree. Previous laboratory leadership background preferred. This is a great position for someone looking to take a step into their first laboratory director role!
