Job details Research ociate Immediate opening with a large specialty clinic in Baton Rouge. Full time with excellent benefits $18.00-$22.00/hour DOE. The Research ociate will work under the general supervision of surgeons to ensure adherence to study protocols. In addition, this person will also work with clinic administrators to collect patient reported outcome (PRO) data on our new all electronic platform, OBERD. RESPONSIBILITIES: ist the Research Project Director and health care providers in executing clinical studies by: Identifying eligible patients, consenting patients for study participation and tracking patient study visits. Preparing and maintaining study binders; entering data into Microsoft Access databases and online EDC (electronic data capture) systems. Taking patient phone calls concerning study visits, procedures and concerns; communicate as needed with sponsor companies. Review relevant literature to gather information on study devices, procedures and relevant outcome measures.
