Research Scientist: Advanced Protein and Crystallization - (Bedford Park, IL)

DeNovX is a technology company that improves crystallization success rates for proteins and small molecule APIs in drug development. DeNovX is seeking a research scientist at our Chicago laboratories to conduct crystallization studies with proteins and APIs using the company’s patented technologies. The ideal candidate will have a PhD or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, or biology with proven experience using various crystallization methods, or a BS with at least 3 years of commercial experience in solid form development of APIs. Excellent wet laboratory skills, a working understanding of solid form characterization methods, and experience with routine laboratory purification techniques are also desirable. Successful applicants will be expected to think innovatively; work unaided or in teams; and to execute in a dynamic environment. Good written and verbal communication ability are required as the successful candidate may periodically represent the company to external audiences.
