Blue Sky Therapy Occupational Therapist PRN Position summary: Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs that help restore vocational, homemaking, and daily living skills, as well as general independence, to disabled persons. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for review of patient’s charts to ensure that all patients who could benefit from intervention are screened and identified. Responsible for initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and plan of care, when indicated. Responsible for observing and enforcing safety during all phases of patient care. Responsible for communicating, recording, and reporting to the Physician when max occupational therapy benefit has been achieved. Responsible for utilizing time, talents and other departmental resources available to meet the objectives of the service. Responsible for working cooperatively with other health-care workers to provide the most efficient, economical and comprehensive care for patients.
