Tool Pre-setter - (West Columbia, SC)

The purpose of this position is to function as a Tool Pre-Setter. This role will maintain a high-level of accuracy of the department's requirements, tool presetting properly and multitasking when required in other departments. Responsibilities: • Breakdown and assembly of high precision cutting tool assemblies • Testing tracking and implementation • Projects related to tooling improvements and cost savings • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and management expertise • Computer-based report generation • Regularly communicate, support internal and external meetings • Project work as assigned for continuous improvement • Liaises with other departments where necessary • Complies with all safety policies and procedures • May be required to train others • Perform other duties as requested Requirements: • High-school diploma or GED required • Min of six months background working in an industrial environment
