Mechanical Engineer - Research and Development - (Canonsburg, PA)

Position details: The Mechanical Engineer two provides support for the design, development, and validation of new products. Works under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment. Key functions Create innovative, customizable power distribution and monitoring solutions to provide value to our partners in all the markets we serve. Use a systematic, analytically-based approach to concepting, designing, and testing. Collaborate with the engineering team tasked with the commercialization and launch of UEC designed products. Perform complex mechanical engineering design tasks in support of new product development. Assist in defining and conducting the testing required, verifying product performance, system integration and compliance with applicable standards. Partner with Production, Quality, and Purchasing to assure product manufacturability. Build strong, positive relationships with other designers. Review the work of others including Drafters and Engineers.
