Plant Manager - Foods - (Reading, PA)

Job summary: Our client is a rapidly expanding producer of nutraceuticals, cereals, animal food additives, as well as specialty chemicals with multiple sites located throughout the US and abroad. This site in Reading is a food additives plant that has recently undergone a $3mm dollar capital investment making it a state-of-the-art facility with PLC controls and instrumentation. The focus of this position will be to upgrade quality, safety and infrastructure programs, as well as the oversite of the 24/5 production workers, planning the budget, and managing the maintenance staff. This site gets technical support from corporate engineering, as well as SHE and quality departments. The process consists of several unit operations including mixers, blenders, dryers, filtration and bulk packaging.
