This position is for a Student Research istant to work on federally funded research studies of an innovative mindfulness-based treatment (Mindfulness-Oriented Recovery Enhancement, see MORE) for opioid-treated chronic pain patients. The research istant will recruit and screen patients with multiple comorbidities (including chronic pain, mental health disorders, and substance use disorders), and provide administrative support via telephone to schedule research essments and maintain follow-up contact with research participants.
