Research istant II - (Jupiter, FL)

The Scripps Research Insute (TSRI) is currently seeking a Research istant II to join the Neuroscience Department for its Florida facility. The selected candidate will plan and conduct novel research projects that involve a significant amount of light microscopy, including wide-field fluorescence, confocal, super-resolution, and possibly two-photon microscopy. The specimens to be employed include cultured cells, histological sections, and living laboratory animals. The successful candidate will ist in designing experiments, perform a thorough data analysis and interpretation of results, and operate sophisticated scientific lab equipment. The individual may pursue a research project solely and/or in collaboration with other lab members and supervise or provide work direction and training to other lab members. Other tasks and responsibilities will be igned as necessary.
