Job overview This full-time position is responsible for accurately coding and abstracting for clinics, hospitalist, etc. utilizing ICD-10 diagnosis/procedure, HCPCS and E&M coding methodologies. Responsible for completeness and accuracy of medical record documentation in accordance with accrediting and regulatory agency qualifications. Responsible for charge entry, analysis of fees and documentation to ensure accurate charge capture and billing compliance is met. Position will also include inpatient and outpatient deficiency completion, ROI, scanning, etc. Knowledge of and background with ICD-10 diagnosis/procedure, HCPCS, E&M coding using encoder. PC skills utilizing microsoft word processing and Ms excel.
