The Sunnyvale division of a reputable electrical contractor is looking for an efficient Purchasing Clerk to assist with financial, administrative and clerical duties. This is a contract to hire opportunity to be part of a growing organization. Responsibilities: Duties and Responsibilities: ??? Primarily support the Director of Procurement ??? Responsible for transfer of all submitted material and service requisitions over to POs within system database ??? Answer Help Desk inquiries via email regarding POs ??? Reconcile purchasing data within Microsoft excel spreadsheets ??? Perform periodic cost analysis and day to day support of purchasing processes ??? Keep an up to date active accounts list for all major vendors ??? Ensure all Purchasing Documents are updated and accurate ??? Write the PEC quarterly meeting agenda as needed Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Requirements: --High-school certificate required; A.A. and above preferred --Great Plains background a huge PLUS! --Proficient in 10-key
