position details: Our client has a 6+ month contact opportunity for a Principal Internal Auditor in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role is a strong chance of converting to a permanent employee. Job Details: This auditor role will be within IT space and an Internal IT Auditor. In this role you will need to be adaptable and see the big picture in risk assessments. Must understand the controls around IT systems access and rights management. Background with NIST, ISO, etc. is needed. Understanding of GRC, CSF, BYOD on mobile. Expertise to create work streams is a must. Any background with the Big three is great - SOX, HIPPA and PCI. General Summary With minimal supervision, performs complex professional accounting work in the recording and reporting of financial transactions. Prepares financial statements, insurance department and other regulatory filings, and performs analyses. Exercises direct or indirect supervision and training of technical and clerical personnel. Key functions
