Line Cook - (Lincolnshire, IL)
Our line cooks are very important members of our kitchen staff. They are responsible for making sure that food is prepared to the exact specifications of the chef, establishment, and customer. We want our line cooks to grow and move up in the kitchen positions with more responsibility. The following duties expected of a line cook: - Station Set Up - At least 2yrs background in a similar capacity. - Able to lift at least 40 lbs - Clean up If you are looking for chef, grill cook, station cook, BOH please apply. Qualifications/Responsibilities * Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of product served as per spec sheets - Maintains good cleaning habits throughout the area of assignment, including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment. * High-school degree or equivalent helpful, but not required. * Former culinary schooling helpful.
