Manager, Production - (Belmont, WI)

Description: The Production Manager is responsible for the overall performance of Production while focusing on Cost, Quality, Safety and Employee Environment. Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to Production personnel and supervisory team. Develop supervisory team skills and abilities to support the plant. * Develop and improve manufacturing processes with the assistance of Technical Services and the Plant Manager. * Cooperate with Maintenance and Engineering departments to coordinate and implement capital projects and maintenance activities. * Identify equipment downtime and machine problems and work with maintenance staff to resolve issues leading to inefficiencies. * Monitor and control departmental costs in comparison with budgetary objectives for cheese production. * Organize and plan daily/weekly production schedules. * Communicate with all employees and supervisors to coordinate operations. * Schedule the optimum amount of supervisory coverage
