Supplemental Health Care is a nationally recognized healthcare staffing provider partnering with a school district in Kansas City, Kansas to provide an Occupational Therapist for a full time contract for the upcoming 2019-20 school year. Qualified Occupational Therapist applicants must have a current Kansas License and any amount of school background. Job Skills: • Provides pre-referral consultations and contributes to initiatives including Response to Intervention (RtI) • Conducts occupational therapy screenings in accordance with the policies of the school district to determine the need for assessment • Identifies whether students who fail screening should be referred for an occupational therapy evaluation • Administers a comprehensive assessment to determine the existence of a disability and identifies student’s functional strengths and weaknesses
