Position overview: Sr. Database Developer BGC Technology Team is looking for Sr. Database Developer who will design, develop, implement and support the firm's global data warehouse. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Interact with business stakeholders to provide solutions addressing business data analytic qualifications * Work with SQL and other database access tools and methods to address business or technical qualifications * Design, implement and support data movement solutions across multiple platforms and data sources (Database tables/views and external files) using custom code and ETL tools and frameworks * Conduct PL/SQL, shell scripting and advanced SQL developments * Identify opportunities to fine-tune and optimize SQL queries/views and PL/SQL programs * Become proficient in the data model and data structures to be able to efficiently respond to business queries and requests * Provide ongoing maintenance and support of database schemas and views * Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production problems and
