Description: Mechanical Design Engineer responsible for mechanical design, engineering documentation, trade studies and drawing release. Perform weights and tolerance analysis on system components. Work concepts and detail designs. Designer will work the opto-mechanical layouts, composite structures and castings. Experience in metal machining, castings, forgings and composites are preferred. They will collaborate closely with Mechanical Engineering to support all program objectives. Travel may be required on an as needed basis. CREO modeling and documentation skills, and a current knowledge of PLM and GD&T is preferred. Experience in metal machining, castings, and forgings are preferred.
