Overview The Science and Technology Division (STD) of the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) has an immediate need for a Research Analyst. Physical science researchers are highly qualified, self-starting professionals sought to advise DoD officials and selected audiences on challenges of national and global significance. Researchers develop the big picture for problems facing senior executives, and military officials across the Federal government. STD scientists and engineers offer our sponsors insight into technology trends and the impact of emerging advances by bringing rigor to technology readiness assessments and independent perspectives on technology risks and mitigation strategies. Responsibilities The focus of the position will be research and development in advanced communication architectures in support U.S. DoD plans to advance the state of the art in communications.
