Senior Technical Editor with Security Clearance - (Lorton, VA)

Description SAIC is seeking a senior level technical editor who will work in the Front Office of the Research and Development Directorate (RD), Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). The work performed directly supports the RD Directorate leaders, including the RD Director, RD Deputy Director, and Chief of R&D Operations. The work is important and highly visible, and is frequently high tempo. The senior Editor is responsible for leading the editing team and working, as part of an executive support staff, to manage, edit, provide quality control, and execute official correspondence and document coordination, including all supporting documents and attachments for the DTRA RD Director. In addition, the Editor will assist in preparation for the Deputy Director ' s weekly Front Office synchronization staff meeting and periodic directorate all-hands meetings. Additional details: 1) Provide oversight, guidance, and daily direction of the RD technical editing team.
