Inventory Control Assistant - (San Diego, CA)

Volt Workforce Solutions is looking for an Inventory Control Assistant in the San Diego area! PLEASE VISIT OUR OFFICE FOR AN IMMEDIATE INTERVIEW WITH A RECRUITER! * Location: 7676 Hazard Center Dr. Suite 1000 San Diego * Walk in times: 9am-4pm Duties: * Receives and tracks incoming packages, verifies contents against the packing slip, verifies the contents against the purchase order. * Receives all materials into accounting system. * Communicates order discrepancies to the buyer and/ or project coordinator. * Move materials to BoM, excess inventory, or engineer. * Facilitate tracking of materials through accounting system on a real time basis. * Assist with inventory cycle counts. * Facilitate merchandise returns by packaging items and coordinating return shipment. * Organize, label, maintain, sort, and restock segregated bins for non-controlled materials. * Other duties as assigned. Qualification: * 1-2yrs of background in manufacturing environment or shipping/receiving role.
