OVERVIEW National Assistance League-- is a California-based nonprofit (501)(c)(3) organization that provides philanthropic programs to help people in our communities achieve a better quality of life. The organization has 22,000 member volunteers in 120 chapters transforming the lives of children and adults by fundraising, governing and executing successful community-based philanthropic programs in communities across America. The purpose of Assistance League's national organization is to build and maintain effective chapters nationwide through education, inspiration and support. We seek an experienced, proactive, highly motivated Executive Director to elevate the profile of the organization through successful fundraising, enhanced marketing and implementation of strategic initiatives. This position reports directly to the elected National Board President and manages a staff of 6. The office is located in Burbank, California.
