Stormwater Maintenance Worker - (Casselberry, FL)

The Stormwater Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing maintenance and repair of public facilities such as stormwater run-off and lake preservation for the City of Casselberry. The Stormwater Maintenance Worker works independently within established policies and procedures. 1.0 Provides maintenance and repair of the assigned public facilities. (95%)1.1 Performs landscape maintenance surrounding City's stormwater ponds, lakes and ditches.1.2 Maintains shoreline and stormwater ponds, lakes and ditches; herbicide and mosquito application and removal of weeds.1.3 Inspects and cleans stormwater lines and baffle boxes to remove pollutants and perform filter maintenance.1.4 Repairs pipe(s) and inlet(s) along roadways.1.5 Collects lake water samples for clarity and depth recordings for the Florida Lakewatch program report.1.6 Performs lake mapping to document and record the location and existence of invasive weeds or plants.1.7 Responds timely to requests and work orders.1.8 Adheres to laws
