Job Number: R0049487 Network Engineer, Mid Key Role: Establish network info requirements in the development of enterprise-wide or large-scale networking infrastructure, including CAN and WAN. Design architecture, including the software, hardware and communications needed to support total requirements and provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Evaluate and network usage problems analytically and systematically and develop appropriate corrective actions. Maintain responsibility for scheduling and conducting pre-site survey and site surveys, recommending alternative approaches to meet event scheduling requirements using existing resources, analyzing the development of installation and removal analysis plans for each government site, providing initial network diagrams, updating network diagrams throughout the installation process, coordinating all shipments of the hardware and necessary communications security (COMSEC) material to user sites
