Job Number: R0049415 Cyberspace Technical Writer Key Role: Research, write, edit, index, or revise user on-line help or print documentation of varying scope and technical complexity. Edit technical documents, including manuals, procedures, and specifications created by software and computer engineers for grammar, punctuation, formatting, and clarity. Perform document management functions, including ensuring documents are placed in the correct folders on the systems. Assist teammates with following material and production through the stages of publishing, including layout and formatting by interfacing with technical writers, illustrators, and ms word processors to ensure the final product meets all requirements and specifications. Participate in the development of the department's editing standards and styles and the interpretation of government standards.
