Telecommunications Technician II - San Diego, CA with Security Clearance - (San Diego, CA)

Position overview Assist with Installs, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of telecommunications equipment. Provide reports, completes requests for new telecommunications service. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Provide administrative Video Teleconference (VTC) and telecommunications support to the Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW) customer. -Provide Video Telecommunications (VTC) administration and on-call support for COMSEC / Courier / maintenance of encryption equipment for the classified VTC communications center. -Provide limited Maintenance of a KIV-7M Data Encryption device, to include any subsequent COMSEC equipment.
