Mid-level Electrical Engineering Patent Attorney - (San Francisco, CA)

San Francisco office of an AmLaw firm seeks mid-level patent attorney with 2-3yrs of background. The applicant will be drafting, filing and prosecuting US patent applications, managing and coordinating international patent application strategies, preparing patentability, non-infringement, and invalidity opinions, and overall intellectual property counseling. Should possess an undergraduate degree or advanced degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or physics. Must have admitted by the State Bar of California and in good standing to practice in California, and registered and in good standing to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Must have 1-3 yrs of background practicing patent law and proven expertise to work both independently and collaboratively with others on complex matters. Background in drafting and prosecuting patent applications is essential.
