Mid-level Securities Associate Attorney - (New York, NY)

New York City office of an AmLaw firm seeks mid-level securities associate attorney with 5-7yrs of background. The applicant will focus on securities and capital markets. Will draft materials relating to public and private offerings of securities, SEC disclosure qualifications and corporate governance matters. Conduct legal research and analysis. Communicate and correspond with colleagues, clients, and other counsel. Perform legal research primarily in federal and state securities law; expertise to use library reference materials and/or electronic resource tools; expertise to establish and maintain effective working relations with others; expertise to communicate effectively in English orally and in writing; expertise to organize and prioritize workload; expertise to understand and follow written and oral directions. Must be admitted to practice law in the State of New York. Must have extensive securities and capital markets background. Must be from a NY office with a highly rated securities practice.
