The client's Digital department is 1 of the most innovative software engineering areas in their enterprise. The team is building a new core Java/AWS platform to provide improved enterprise wide data analytics and data visualization capabilities. The client has been moving data from numerous data sources (variety of traditional databases) into 1 single, true source of data on the Amazon S3 storage platform. The team will be providing the data analytics/visualization platform that allows access to all of their centralized data. The goal is to be able to provide improved telematics, sales, maintenance and equipment data to their end clients which include some of the largest construction/mining facilities in the world, their global dealer/supplier network and their internal teams. The Java/AWS platform will be helping build is a critical part of turning the client's vision into a reality. A reality that will provide a competitive advantage in their industry.
