QUALITY CONTROL ASSOCIATE CENTER FOR BIOMEDICINE AND GENETICS sought by Beckman Research Institute of the City of Hope in Duarte, CA. Duties: Perform quality control assays, release tests, and assay development tasks. Assist the Quality Control Manager in achieving compliance with all Federal and State accrediting agency qualifications in testing of biopharmaceutical and genetic products manufactured in the Center for Biomedicine and Genetics. Work on release testing to support the GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) productions including cell products and biologics such as viral vectors, plasmid DNA, and recombinant proteins. Provide qualification and validation support for manufacturing processes and quality assurance procedures that are essential to the cGMMP production of biomedical products, including appropriate and accurate documentation.
