Field Service Generator Engineer POSITION HIGHLIGHTS This person can be located anywhere as long as they are close to a major airport as the job involves approx 65% travel and working from home the remainder of the time. Will be covering Central and South America - MUST SPEAK FLUENT SPANISH. Looking for someone who has previously held titles such as "generator engineer" or "generator specialist". This is generator focused, not looking for a turbine engineer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES. Direct work to accomplish installation, repair, maintenance malfunction analysis, or operation of customer's turbine-generators;. Direct technical and non-technical personnel at the job site in running rewinds and other generator repair jobs;. Establish, create and review procedures and tests relating to generators;. Coordinate, review and select generator subcontractor requirements to support field service activities;. Knowledge and background testing larger H2 cooled generators;.
