Summary: To plan, direct and implement all technical documentation of the product manufacturing process by performing the following duties. Processes include Metal Forming, Welding, Stamping, Fabrication, and Assembly. HANDS ON ENGINEERING Duties and Assignments include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Coordinates with product design and manufacturing engineers to establish documentation procedures for the manufacture of the company's products. Prepares and submits capital requests for new machinery and equipment including appropriate justifications for expenditures. Maintains knowledge of current trends and techniques in product manufacturing and recommends enhancements to the company's manufacturing process as appropriate. Conducts period reviews of procedures and plants layout as it relates to manufacturing efficiency based on current and projected product mixes and volumes. Assists in the establishment and maintenance of an equipment preventative maintenance program.
