Nursing Director - New Surgical Unit (Oncology concentration) - ET6 East Tower six is a brand new 32 bed Surgical unit, with an Oncology concentration. twelve beds are Intermediate Care (IMC).# This unit will support the iPace Care model. This unit is anticipated to open in January, 2020. Position description The Nurse Director is the vital link between the mission and vision of Maine Medical Center and the delivery of safe patient and family centered care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and provides highest quality care. Reporting through an Associate Vice President for Nursing, this role requires collaboration with physicians, senior administration, directors and other professional colleagues to meet the diverse and continually changing challenges of the health care environment.
