Senior java developer - (Chicago, IL)

We have an immediate opening for a Java Developer. Any financial environment background is a plus. Salary is 90-120K. Great benefits (company pays 85), PAID-TIME-OFF and great working atmosphere. Client will interview via Skype. This job requires someone with 6+ years of Java background (core Java and multithreading a plus). Responsibilities Write core java code adhering to overall architecture and design of existing applications Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance to resolve any issues reported by QA Test Analysis Understand performance metric and factors affecting the performance and find ways to improve it Leverage automation for increased efficiency Track own progress to ensure timely delivery Bring in fresh ideas to make improvements Participate in code reviews for own as well as othersrsquo code Work with other teams involved in project life cycle Qualifications 8+ years of background in a Software engineering Deep understanding of Core Java and Multithreading Background with performance tuning
