Lien Law/Construction Law Attorney - (Maitland, FL)

Maitland office of our client seeks lien law/construction law attorney with background. The applicant will represent clients in court or before government agencies. Will prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Advise clients on business and legal transactions. Negotiate settlements for legal disputes. Comply with all legal standards and regulations. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Local area and occasional overnight travel is required. Prior background in construction law is required including: liens, bonds, construction defects, file liens, and contracts. Knowledge in debt collection and/or construction lien law is desired. Background in negotiating payments from insurance companies and filing suit with Assignment of Benefit contracts is strongly desired. Motion practice, trial background, and knowledge of litigation procedures are required. Familiarity with various legal documents is essential. Must be a current member of the Florida Bar.
