First Party Property Damage Associate Attorney - (Fort Lauderdale, FL)

Ft. Lauderdale office of our client seeks 1st party property damage associate attorney with background. The applicant will be handling defense of 1st party property damage lawsuits. Will be having court appearances and taking of depositions. Managing cases from inception to post-trial. Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Preparing pleadings, discovery/discovery responses, motions, and other litigation documents. Preparing timely reports to insurance carriers and clients regarding case status and ongoing activities. Communicating effectively with senior attorneys and paralegals. Meeting billing qualifications. Completing tasks as assigned in a timely manner. Knowledge of ProLaw and Acuity are a plus. Should be a Member in good standing of the Florida Bar.Additional Skills: The applicant will have expertise to adhere to deadlines, multi-task, and handle a high volume of cases. Must preferably be detail oriented, self-motivated, and a self-starter.
