Construction Attorney - (Chicago, IL)

Tysons Corner office of our client seeks construction attorney with 5-8 yrs of background. The applicant should have significant background in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, litigating in state and federal courts and ADR forums, as well as proficiency in analyzing, proving, and defending construction claims. Extensive knowledge of construction law is preferred and civil litigation background is required. Deposition background and federal and state motions practice is preferred. Current Virginia State Bar license, or expertise to immediately waive in, is required. Admission to Maryland and the District of Columbia is also preferred.Additional Skills: The applicant should have excellent writing and analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and an expertise to own the case and work under pressure with multiple obligations, cases, and deadlines. Must possess the ambition to microsoft excel within a motivating law firm environment and enjoy working with like-minded attorneys.
