Forklift Mechanic - (Charleston, IL)

Position le: Forklift Mechanic Reports To: Area Manager/Supervisor Job Location: Mattoon, IL FLSA Status: Hourly/Non Exempt Exempt Classification: POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND REQUIRED FUNCTIONS: :Responsible for daily maintenance and repairs of forklifts, and light truck maintenance. :Responsible for keeping daily parts, and work order records. :Responsible for preventative maintenance on various gas, or, propane forklifts. :Responsible for mechanical, and electrical repairs on fork lifts. :Responsible for repairing and maintaining all safety equipment on forklifts. :Responsible for following all safety regulations. :Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe work area at all times. :Must be flexible with scheduling to maintain production, and quality goals. :May be required to perform other duties BASIC REQUIREMENTS: :1 Yr, or more, forklift , and -or general mechanical experience. :Must be a , "TEAM PLAYER", must interact with other mechanics , and operators in a professional manner.
