Healing House Youth Worker Summer ociate - (Kansas City, MO)

In the face of the opioid crisis, this Summer ociate VISTA position will impact poverty by providing preschool education programs and supervision istance for the children of recovery residents. The Pre-K Activities Facilitator VISTA will build the capacity of HealingHouse INC. by developing and implementing early education programs for children of residents while they are engaged in recovery support in Northeast Kansas City, MO. As a result of the VISTA member's service, Pre-K children of residents in recovery can prepare for school, children on summer break will engage in activities to maintain their level of education, and children of clients in recovery will bolster their child care with school reparedness programs.
