Payroll Specialist - contract position - (Quincy, MA)

Payroll Specialist - contract position Three to four-month temporary position where you will perform a broad range of complex payroll and related duties. The Payroll Specialist prepares and verifies all payroll and benefit documents, coordinates all payroll functions including time-sheet verification. Develop electronic spreadsheets to continually enhance the accuracy and efficiency of payroll and benefits operations. Work requires initiative and independent judgment in the application of prescribed policies, procedures, and methods. Performs all other related work as required. You will train with the current Payroll Administrator. This is a part time position approx 25 hours per week with adjustable hours 8am to two or 3pm Monday thru Friday. Qualifications: 5-ten years of background administering payroll and benefits.Strong organizational skils, detail oriented, and excellent communication abilities.
