Irrigation service technician - (Middleton, WI)

Job overview The Irrigation Service Technician is responsible for start ups, winterization, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of irrigation systems for The Bruce Company customers. Duties and Responsibilities Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems. Perform start up and activation of irrigation systems as scheduled. Conduct and record maintenance and inspection of existing irrigation systems. Repair PVC and poly piping systems, including locating and excavation. Repair and adjustment of pop-up irrigation and sprinklers and irrigation control valves. Repair and programming of irrigation controllers, and adjusting irrigation controller programs for efficient application of irrigation water. Use multi-meter to troubleshoot and repair irrigation electrical systems. Use wire locating equipment to locate wire paths and faults. Winterize irrigation systems using compressed air. Locate service sites on maps and drive to locations.
