The Adel Public Safety department is here to make sure you feel safe and comfortable in Adel; make us your place to contact if you ever have safety concerns. From emergency situations to general concerns, we have the staff and knowledge to be able to address any situation. The City's Public Safety Building is located at 102 S. 10th St. (at the corner of 10th and Main Street), and it houses both the police department and the volunteer fire department. Adel has a strong police force to help keep the crime rate 1 of the lowest in the state of Iowa. We're proud to have men and women on staff that are fully dedicated to making sure the citizens of Adel remain safe.
