Duties: Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and purchasing all manufacturing parts. This includes developing long and short range procurement strategies ensuring material supply and inventory levels. Initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts, services, and/or special tools, arranges for submission and inspection of sample products as required, close coordination with plant engineering to assure timely execution of product and services sourcing activities Evaluates purchasing requirements coordinating with Customer Service, Production Leads, Sales, R&D, Compliance, and other departments to ensure requisitioned materials are sourced properly and in accordance with jurisdictional and customer site requirements.
